I believe in constructive criticism. I will never tell you 'this is crap', but I will also be honest. If you cannot take criticism you shouldn't be looking for a Beta. I can't say I'm a grammar-Nazi, but I will be adamant in correcting as many errors as I find; often people don't realize how much the difference between 'their' and 'they're' affects a story.

I am good at helping people explore their ideas, not just giving them gramatical advice. What separates a good story from a great story is not the main idea, but the details. How well does the story flow? Are you rushing the character development? These are just as important as grammar and spelling. If you want a grammar-Nazi, find a grammar-Nazi; if you want am editor, I am more than willing.

I, myself, am not a good speller. Thankfully, there is always spell check and search engines. We will not always agree. But that's okay, everyone has their own tastes. And as much as I value my own opinion, ultimately it is your story and what you do or do not keep/change is up to you.

I LOVE romances. And almost every other genre. But I definately prefer stories with a little love in the mix. Also, I should note I am okay with graphic violence, as I also like horror stories.
