I've been writing my whole life, but only started writing fanfiction about a year and a half ago. Mass Effect is my fandom of choice; I've fallen completely in love with its universe and characters. I'm also happy to read other subjects though, provided those subjects aren't something I can't stand.

If I'm betareading your story, expect me to be an active part of it. I don't want to be your spellcheck; I will contribute to the story and give you my thoughts on the characters in addition to helping you with the structure. Expect honest but constructive criticism. I'll tell you right away if a descriptive sentence is unwieldy or dialogue seems unrealistic, but I'll also have suggestions for how you could improve it.

One thing I will mercilessly harangue you about is grammar. Language is the material out of which you build your story, and I won't let it go to mold.

I usually write science fiction and fantasy. I consider myself imaginative and descriptive, and my stories usually have a lot of detail and description. I love writing relationships and romance, and that's often the most enjoyable part of a story for me. I tend to get very into my characters, and it's often the characters' journey rather than the plot that drives my stories. I'm also pretty good at characters' thoughts and motivations, so if you want help with that I would be glad to oblige.

I can always tell when something in a story doesn't sound right, and I won't hesitate to scrap a sentence if it's awkward-sounding. I also consider myself quite good at dialogue, and making the characters talk like real people.

Sometimes I worry that i get too into the small-scale in my stories, leaving the narrative as a whole feeling a bit broken up.

Something exciting! I'd like there to be an actual plot, not just characters whining to themselves forever. Action is good, and humor is a pleasure to read as well. I would prefer a story involving romance of some kind, slash or het, either is fine.

Let's see... No stories whose only purpose is to rewrite the ME3 ending. No pedophilia, I don't find that amusing. And no Harry Potter, I'm begging you...
