Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I will admit, I can be a spelling Nazi at times, but I'll be nice about it. I won't say something like "Hey, dumb-wad, you spelled a word wrong." I'm more likely to say, "is this the word you were looking for?" or "here's a spelling error I noticed." Don't worry, I won't tear the story apart looking for spelling /br /br /br /br /br / br /br / br / br /br /br / br / br /br / br / br /br /br /br / br / br /br / br / br /br /br / br / br /br / br / br /br /br /br /br / br / br /br / br / br /br /br / br / br /br / br / br /br /br /br / br / br /br / br / br /br /br / br / br /br / br / Actually, I'm more interested in the content of the story. I like stories that make readers feel all kinds of things. You know, the ones that make you laugh hysterically or cry like a baby or just want to kick a character's butt. I'm a big fan of alternate endings, AU, non-canon, parody, all that kind of stuff. I do not shy away from slash or Sue fics. Not that I'm a perv, but I've read some AWESOME stories that have slash in them. Just don't overdo the details of the you-know-what in your story, if it has that. I will read any rating on here, and I may also provide suggestions of stories to read that might give you ideas on how to better yours. |
