I am not strict on authors missing their scheduled sending of chapters but would prefer you to keep in contact so that I am aware of changes in plan. I correct spelling, grammar and punctuation, depending on what is required and perhaps more if the writer would like me to re-phrase statements they aren't happy with. I like to bounce ideas with the authors so if you do not like to do so then just tell me. If you are looking for a very hands off beta who will strictly correct mistakes I'm not your girl because though I can do that to a high level I will not enjoy working with a story hat I am not thoroughly involved in. I will absolutely not change anything that is not a writing mistake, I will merely send notes to the author on my opinions and ideas for the story which they may or may not accept.

I'm open to helping writers with problems they have, whether it's writer's block, lack of direction or lack of confidence. Any criticism will not be harsh instead it will be sensitive whilst direct.

I get very emotionally involved with the stories I read or beta so if I do not thoroughly enjoy the story I am working with I will only work to a decent basic level. I'm English so whilst I am very confident with my standard US English, I am not completely familiar with all US dialects and I would not feel confident enough giving heavily-dialectal dialogue nor the US education system workings. Standard US dialogue is fine. I am not 100 percent perfect at spelling but I will be able to pick up on mistakes.

I enjoy working with authors who I can develop friendships with, I like to discuss the story we're working on and help develop it. I prefer chapter-ed stories though am willing to work on one-shots that capture my interest. I work best with Glee writing, I follow the show religiously and am very involved with the fandom. Though I am thoroughly in love with and knowledgeable with every single TV show, book series or movie that I have put myself forward to beta.

I don't enjoy Mary Sues or OOCs.
