One of my main aims as a betareader would be to improve grammar and/or text layout. It makes the story so much easier to read and more enjoyable, even if it's small things like correct punctuation, or bigger things like starting a new line for speech. I just want to make sure that stories are the best they can be (or, at least, readable!) before they are put on the website. All I ask of the writer is that they make an effort with their work, because writing is such an amazing gift, to the author and especially to the readers.

I'm good at picking up spelling and grammar mistakes, probably because I like my stories to be as perfect as possible. I like to include a bit of suspence and a fluent writing style in my own stories, so I'll be looking out for that.

Admittedly, I'm a bit lazy. I try my best, but sometimes I just have those can't-be-bothered days. But I'm working on that, and I would NEVER leave a story unfinished. I live in New Zealand, while most of the writers are based in the USA. that means that I occasionally spell things the british way, rather than the American way. I do make an effort to spell some words normally (not normal for me) though.

One shots will always be my preference, but I'd still love to commit to a long story!

I'm not picky.
