Since I'm still quite new to the writing thing and have no experience in beta reading fiction I don't really know what to write here. I've been reading fanfiction for over seven years now and have read quite a few fandoms. At frst only in German and after some time also English since there are a lot more stories there. I wouldn't call myself a good writer, since I've never been really artistic (I majorly suck at drawing) but am more of a science type. I never thought I'd write myself until I got a visit from a plotbunny that wouldn't leave me alone until I had the story written down. And since it actually was fun I simply continued. Also also really enjoy talking to all the people here since I've never had any friends that were into slash. If you have any questions don't hesitate to PM me. I don't bite (much). ;)

I've worked as a proofreader in a publishing company during some of my holidays. Most of that was German but also a bit of English so I'd like to say that I'm quite good at spelling. Since my first language is German I can't guarantee that my English grammar is perfect, but I think that if you read a lot you somehow get a feeling for a language and the grammatical structures you can use.

My one big problem, at least as a writer, is the development of stories that have more than a few thousand words which means that I've only written oneshots so far. But I'd love to write a really long story one day.

According to my reading habits I definitely prefer slash/yaoi stories but I am also fine with any story that doesn't contain a pairing and is simply Humor, adventure or anything like that.

Since I don't read any het stories I don't think I would be good as a beta for any het romance story since I have no experience with them. I don't like tragedy (HEA-girl for life), shota and I am not very fond of Mpreg (I've read some but they have to be very good or at least have a good explanation). I don't think that there is anything lemon-wise that I wouldn't beta, at least nothing you are allowed to post on this site. ;)
