I'm brutally honest. I often forget I'm betaing for longer stories, and it takes me a while to get to everything.

I really like stories that follow the plot of the fiction they're being written about. I like all the origional characters acting in character, although if the story is based in universes like DC, and you're adding someone not from the story into the fanfiction but they still exist in the universe I'm cool with that. I generally prefer non-crossover material, but if I find a crossover that combines the stories in ways that make sense, unlike a character falling into a wormhole and ending up in a wacko different show/book series universe, like the two characters bumping into eachother in a fight. I really like stories that go deeper into the feelings of the characters also.

I'm not the biggest fan of romance. I don't like many crossover stories. I don't beta-read rated M stuff.
