To get right to the point, I'm a professional editor (though I mainly work in Web writing) and I have a few fiction publications under my belt, so I like to think I have some decent experience to offer. As a beta-reader, I tend to lapse into full editor mode, but I can curb that if all you're looking is some low-level critique. I will happily give advice on plot creation, characterization, grammar, writing in general, even if all you need is help figuring out how to tackle that one difficult scene. My strengths in writing have always been dialogue and character-building. I would love to give you guidance on nailing a character's "voice" and keeping them true to their origins. To a lesser extent, I have good experience with narration and description.

English is actually not my first language, so sometimes my syntax can be a bit "off". I rely on a beta-reader of my own to help me with this. But I think I do better correcting other people's syntax than my own. :)

I'm open to most anything- from the fluffiest fluff to the kinkiest slash. If you'd not sure, ask, but there's very little I'll turn away. I do favour stories with same-sex romances, and anything dealing with non-binary gender. Mpreg is a big thing for me. I will so happily beta your mpreg.

The only thing I won't beta are stories featuring heterosexual romance. Not my cup of tea.
