My wish isn't to gain self-satisfaction by beta-reading, it is to help whoever asks for my service. What I try to do is help with the story itself, not just act like a computer's spelling and grammar check. I want to help you improve your writing and be completely happy with the work that you publish. If you are looking for someone to simply correct the mistakes you make, I can do that. But what I really want to do is help you make your stories the best that they can be. I like to submerse myself into the work I am helping with, and make sure it flows well and is overall fanfiction that you can be proud of. Be prepared for criticism! But don't worry, I'm very friendly and try to be kind, so I won't be harsh about it :)

That all being said, I am willing to beta-read almost everything, no matter if it's complete or ongoing, a one-shot or a very long chaptered fic, a romance story or a general one, and so on and so forth. Please carefully read my Betareader profile so that you're sure I am the person for you!

I am an English student whose strengths include spelling, grammar, and punctuation on the purely editing side. On the other side, more to do with the story itself, I can be a really great help at plotting and creating parts of the story, as well as making sure it works with what you have already and keeps up continuity. If there is a flaw that is bothering me very much, then I will talk to you about it. I won't simply tell you "this is wrong!" because that is very unfair. Instead, I will do my best to explain what I mean and try to give you suggestions on how to improve whatever the problem is.

I have no huge weaknesses when it comes to writing and editing, but of course, because I am human, I do make mistakes. I'll probably over look a few mistakes here and there, and perhaps make a blunder or two, but I will always make up for them. Just tell me if you see that I've made a mistake, because I like to improve as well.

I am pretty much open to everything (as in any type of pairing and any genre/subject/rating) but I will tell you that I am a much better beta-reader when I enjoy what I'm reading. This means that if you're writing a particular pairing that I love, I will probably do a better job helping you with it than if it is one I do not like very much. I'm not extremely picky though, so don't worry too much about this. I do ask that you do not ask me to be a beta-reader for something that I am not familar with however, as that makes it very hard for me to help you stay in character or maintain regularity with canon.

I guess I wrote what should have been placed here in the previous box, but I'll repeat that I'm not picky, so there aren't many subjects that I will not beta for. But, as I said before, I will do a better job if the fanfiction is about something I like. I do have to say that I really don't like chatfics. Also, crossovers and mpregs, unless done very well, are other subjects I don't particularly enjoy. Fanfictions with OCs are ones that I am considerably more picky about, because I haven't read many that were actually written well and worked with the original storyline the fanfiction is from, but I am still more than willing to beta-read those types of fics as well (just be prepared for a little more criticism!)
