-I'm a little on the weird side. Either I don't like what I'm reading or I do like what I'm reading. I will warn you, it may take me a day or so to actually finish critiquing what I'm reading. I work part-time at a convenience store so if you send me an article, you probably won't get it back until the next /br /

-I run on a strict first-come-first-serve basis. If your article comes in first, that will be the first article I will read and I will try to get it back to you as soon as I'm finished.

Like I've said before, I'm not all that great at being critical so I will try. My strengths would be something along the lines of tv shows (primarily the ones I've seen, if it's not on the list of things I like or have seen or have written about, don't send it to me). I'm also good at spotting spelling errors, grammar mistakes, and punctuation. When I beta, I try to get a feel as to what the writer is trying to express. If something doesn't sound right, I'll change it. But I don't do anything with storylines. Changing that is up to the writer. Even as a beta, it's not my place to fool with a storyline. It also helps if i know something about what your writing about. like if it's a show or something like that, i at least have to know what it's about to get a feel for what you're trying to convey. it helps me figure out if your characters are in . . . well . . . character. if you wanted to change their personality a bit to fit your story, that's fine. i might critique you on that so you might want to warn me ahead of time if you've changed how a character acts so i know not to play with that.

I don't do games or plays. That's not really my strong suit. They tend to lose me or my brain goes elsewhere. Also, when someone says, "tell me if my story is missing something or if I forgot something", I don't know if there's something you forgot to include. I will do what I can to make your manuscript better. You can take a look at it and decide if there needs to be something added and maybe send it back to me. my job is just to help you fix it if you want it to be fixed.
