Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I adhere to Oxford commas and other guidelines in the Chicago stylebook. I enjoy reading interesting dialogue but am terrible at writing it. (I tend to write long tedious chapters with scene descriptions and lots of character internalizations.) I've beta-ed for a couple of Escaflowne writers in 2008-2010 and I'm picking up writing again after a long break. I blog about my fanfic writing experience at jomielll dot blogspot dot com. |

I'm bad at dialogue writing so will not be able to give any suggestions on making the story more exciting :( I'm sorry. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
I've obsessed about Rurouni Kenshin and Vision of Escaflowne since college and recently got into Sherlock. I prefer traditional pairing stories (Kenshin/Kaoru, Van/Hitomi, Johnlock) though I'm up for other story ideas if it is interesting. Continuation and AU stories are all fine. |
