I critically read text for everything from grammatical errors to plot points and characterization. You need help with it? I've got it.

I am a grammar nazi. If anything is spelled incorrectly or used in the wrong way, I lose my mind. That is the most irritating part of reading a story, especially if the story itself is a good one. As I mentioned before, I am a student in an AP Literature class. This has given me an eye for detail and because of this, I feel that I can pick out background meanings and help writers to develop stories well.

I am biased towards the way I have been taught to look at literature. Sometimes a story is meant to be just that: a story. I feel that I look into things too much sometimes.

Because I only really know much about Glee and Harry Potter, I would prefer to read stories from those fandoms exclusively. I have no problem with smut or violence, AU or future fics. Just because it isn't something I would normally love to pieces doesn't mean it isn't wonderful. Of course, this is coming from someone who prefers canon stories, but her favorites are Dalton and The Sidhe. So, my range of acceptability is pretty wide.

Honestly, I will attempt to betaread anything. If I don't know much about the subject, I can really only read for grammatical errors and such, but that's better than nothing, right?
