If you want me to betaread a story, go ahead and send me a PM, as well as a summary of your story and any elements that I should be aware of.

When I betaread, I read your story and edit errors as I go along. I may put a note in boldface, parentheses, or both if there is something I want you to notice.

I'm not the most diligent with this site, so it may take me a bit to get around to editing your story, but I will try my best to get it back to you quickly.

I am particularly good at finding errors in spelling and grammar.

I tend to focus more on the mechanics of a story and less on the actual plot when it comes to editing, though I'd be happy to check a plotline and offer whatever help I can. I'm also somewhat lazy on this site, so it may take a while for me to edit your story.

If it has a lot of errors, I'll jump at the chance. I am fine with editing stories that were originally in another language and translated to English. In addition, if the story is romance, I'd prefer to betaread heterosexual pairings. (If it's mild, I can do homosexual, but I prefer not to.) The ones I wouldn't do are below.

I would not like to betaread ones that are intense: intense gore, intense sexual activity, etc. I don't like angst and don't do well with self-harm or homosexuality (please don't get mad at me, I simply don't do those so well).
