Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I always check grammar and always correct it. I like to keep characters IC, sometimes I read some that are OOC but not too OOC, and I don't really like severely OOC fanfictions. I would like for the author to understand that when I criticize them it's not to be mean, but to help them out. Also, I check to see that the story makes sense, and that it flows from one event to another. And if you would like for me to beta-read your stories and you give me a deadline, I would like for it to be realistic because I have a life too! |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
Good with grammar and mechanical errors. Love to read, love anime and manga. I love languages, and I love to help people! I guess I am basically good at all different types of things when it comes to beta-reading, don't really have specific strengths. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I tend to sometimes have run-on sentences, but I can spot them in other works, and I will do my best to correct them. I am a new Beta-Reader, and I might not beta-read as well as someone with a lot of experience until I get the hang of beta-reading. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
Naruto (Sasuke, Itachi, Naruto, Anko, Shikamaru, Kakashi, Jiraiya, Minato as characters), Prince of Tennis (Tezuka, Fuji, Ryoma, and Nanjiroh as characters), Fullmetal Alchemist (Roy, Hughes, Edward, Riza, Maria Ross, Hoenheim, Havoc, Trisha), Teen Titans x Batman; Young Justice (Parental Batman and Robin; or Parental Bruce and Richard Grayson) and possibly other anime/manga, just have to ask me first! |
