I'm very hardcore about grammar and punctuation, but I am polite and encouraging in my critiquing. I like to give suggestions here and there for wording if something comes across as overly awkward or disrupts the flow of the story. I work well with people whose first language is not English as well, as I plan to be an English teacher and like to explain the nuances of the language in ways that it makes sense and will help people to grasp it. However, I do not translate, so please do not ask me for help with that. I use American English grammar, though sometimes British English spelling - honour instead of honor, etc. - but if you use 'honor' instead I recognize that it is correct and will not change it. If you want to discuss stories and edits or even need suggestions for plot and such, I love to talk over MSN, Skype, AIM, or Astra. Also, I like to use Google Docs so we can see each other's suggestions side-by-side with the story and things are more easily accessed and compared.

My spelling, grammar, and punctuation are impeccable. For characters with whom I am very familiar I have a strong sense of IC and OOC, but also prefer to negotiate with an author rather than simply demand changes. Also, I will not change your story without first speaking to you. I will give you suggestions, and if you decide to implement them I will then beta-read your changes once again for quality, grammar, etc. I am always respectful. If you seem to be unsure what direction to take a character I may suggest headcanons as well. Frankly, I'm very good with intimate scenes, as well, and may suggest things to spice it up.

I make a lot of typos, but I will never give you a story with my own typos in it, as I will double-check all of my edits and run it through Spellcheck to be safe.

I have certain characters and pairings for which I would prefer to read and beta, but I can do anything to do with Katekyo Hitman REBORN! The characters I know the best are Dino Cavallone, Rokudou Mukuro, Hibari Kyouya, Daemon Spade, Alaude, Byakuran Gesso, Kikyou, and a few miscellaneous others. For smut, I like kinks. Psychological themes are my favourite. Character explorations are perfect. All sexualities are welcome, but most of my ships are yaoi due simply to the nature of women in KHR.

There are a couple of pairings I can't stand (we all have them). 1827 is the top of the list. 6927 is somewhere closer. Honestly, I just don't care for Tsuna-centric pairings, but I do like stories with Tsuna in them. Sorry, fangirls. I don't like extremely submissive characters unless there is an explanation for it or a particular dynamic that makes them that way. OCs are very iffy for me. I like them in small doses, and I like them well-made. I won't do an OC-centric fic but for very rare exceptions.
