Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I like to help, But I won't do ALL the work. OK, maybe I will. But if you want me to Beta, you must both update annually(weekly, daily, every other day, ets.) and you must promise to COMPLETE the story! I don't like working on something that gets abandoned! if you want a taste of how i write, I would recommend reading 2 of my storys, "Samantha's Slight Hiccup" and "And right again" These really show two completely and utterly different sides of my writing. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I Know a lot about grammar for my age, I have a kick-a*s Spell-check, and if a sentence makes no scene, I usually know what the author if trying to say, so I can phrase it better. I'm all-for working together on a project. My friend and I are currently working on a crossover story for HTTYD and Percy Jackson called "The Immortal Sisters" go check it out. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I do my best, this I can promise you. I don't like doing half-a*sed jobs. If it's late, and I'm tired, I'll stop, sleep, and continue the work in the morning. I suppose my weaknesses would be the "There/Their/They're"'s, those buggers still sometimes get away from me! |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
I write comedy, that's for sure, But I can also do fluff and some dark stuff. When it comes to fandoms, I can beta for How To Train Your Dragon (Book-verse or Movie-verse), Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Case Closed (or Detective Conan in japan, Unwind (Awesome book, I love it), Tokyo Mew Mew (Mew Mew Power), "Pixie Pop" I suppose, Disney stuff (Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, Anastasia, ets.), Flowers for Algernon (not that there's much of THAT)I'm Probably forgetting something. Oh, well. |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
I DO NOT DO LEMON! OR ANYTHING SEXUAL OR INAPPROPRIATE! I DO NOT DO YAOI! I THINK THIS SHOULD BE OBVIOUS, CONSIDERING I AM 13! I don't like character death fics, But I'll stick with them if they are really good, or if it's a bad character who dies. However, I have nothing against fics where characters get hurt, injured, or sick. |
