I'm a pretty amiable and courteous beta reader and only ask that you show me the same behaviour. If you wish to acquire my beta reading services, just know what you have in mind, and don't abandon your fic. If you started it I would love to beta your chapters and give feedback and make changes, but please don't just stop and abandon your fic. Editing is what I love to do and I do it automatically when I read something, so therefore if I can help someone else publish a better fic, I consider that a good use of my skills.

I can help you with grammar, word choice, spelling, punctuation, sentence structure and if English isn't your first language I can help with any confusing parts that don't make sense.

I might miss something depending on how good the fic is, but I always re-read just in case. I tend to give some harsh constructive criticism; not mean, simply strict.

I prefer to beta for slash/yaoi fics because that is what I am most familar with. I also prefer to edit fics based of a topic that I know of, say an anime or book that I have already read or seen. These things aren't necessary for me to beta a fic, but will garner the best results.

I will read and beta most styles of fics, so don't be afraid to ask me to beta, but I'd rather not edit fics that are under 1,000 words. OC romances/ OCs in major positions is also typically not my thing.
