Hey, I would love to be able to help out any writers who are struggling with grammar and story writing. I tend to be a pretty quick beta-reader as I love reading and tend to be able to quickly sort issues that are grammar based. I would be happy to help anyone out if they are also in need of some help if their muse decides to take a little holiday at any time. I am quite a laid-back beta-reader; when you have something to be read, I'll turn it around sharply.

My English is pretty decent as I have just graduated from a humanities degree in a British university. I am quite broad in my interests so know a lot of different fandoms and can hopefully spread my work throughout several areas. I also have a fantastical imagination so any storyline will be met with a broad mind. I can also help across all ratings - my own personal writings (not all on this site) vary between fluff and smut with side helpings of romance and angst.

So whilst I can usually turn around a story quickly, there may be times of the year that it will take me a little longer as I have to focus on that unfortunate thing called Real Life. But I don't like to let it impact me for too long. I am also an unfortunate perfectionist in that I will likely return your work covered in changes if they need to be made, no matter how sentimental you may feel about a certain piece of writing. I would hope that would be helpful for a writer, but some people don't like the blunt manner that criticism can come in.

I honestly love angsty stories. Don't know why, But I feel that it really helps for the development of a story. I also prefer my stories in the T to M ratings but do read across the entire spectrum. I also prefer F/M or F/F relationships thanks to my own personal experience but that does not preclude me from working on stories that are M/M in nature, I simply don't have a personal experience that can sometimes be beneficial in these types of story.

There are not many types of story that I don't like to betaread however stories that are exceedingly short (1000 words) are not normally things that I can easily beta beyond grammar checks as there tends to be little development in these stories.
