As a beta-reader I strive to be thorough in making sure grammar, spelling, sentence structure, emotions, and plot lines flow together. I get very into stories and desired reactions are likely to be obtained, but my critism can come out a bit harsh even when I soften it over things that I believe to not work (I.e. characters, plot lines). I do my best to make a story flow while catching and keeping readers attentions. The only expectations I have is that there's mutual level of respect.

My strengths would include; punctuation, grammar and spelling, as well as word/story flow.

I have a keen eyesight for when something's off whether in a story or in a sentence. The story is your baby, I will not change anything above the slight rearranging of words in a sentence. Everything else is directed to you along with information on everything edited.

I'm a fast editor, depending on when you get the document to me (and the word count) I will be done either that day or the next.

Even if I'm unfamiliar with the topic of your fic, I will go spend the next week learning everything I can.

I always reread the document at least once before sending it back to you.

Grammar (yes yes Im aware this is contradictory, but sometimes it's my Herculean strength and then Achilles heal), I'm a bit abrasive as an editor meaning I can be a tad harsh if I think something isn't working in your story but I just want the best for you and your fic (if you explain to me why something the way it is I will leave it alone and respect your decision. It is YOUR fic after all.)

I'm not always the best at keeping on top of things, so if you ask me to check in on a scheduled time chances are it ain't happening. I will however check in from time to time at random intervals when receiving no contact. (#I can be annoying af, I apologize ahead of time.)

Being a fast editor I tend to make more minor mistakes with things I don't catch while trying to be quick and thorough for your sake. (Though I will happily go through the multiple document revisions if you ask me to.)

My preferences mainly revolve around, romance, friendship, drama, hurt/comfort, angst, family, adventure, suspense, mystery and tragedy. I like a lot, what can I say?

Surprisingly, this list is way smaller than I though its be: crime, horror, and sometimes drama. Recently horror has become something I'm more inclined to write as well as read making it a sort of lesser evil I suppose. And who am I kidding with drama, I've watched more soap operas than I thought I could tolerate so hit me with your best shot.

Sorry crime, excluding small branches, I ain't not fond of it I just can't write it. You know what I'm saying?
