I greatly enjoy helping people find success, especially in writing. I have participated in a number of workshops and classes as well. I have written stories for mostly video games, but I'm willing to try just about anything. I have written for anime and tv shows, but ironically no books. Yeah, I'm a writer who doesn't read much. What a contradiction. I've been writing fanfiction for many years now, and writing in general for even longer, so I have quite a bit of general experience. I'll be honest about your work, obviously. What good is a beta if they're not honest, but don't be discouraged if it comes off as harsh. I've been dealt harsh criticism and I know that sometimes it can be the most important kind. Chances are obviously better if I know the subject matter your story is on, but I probably won't outright refuse you unless I know nothing at all about the source or I dislike it. I can guarantee I'll get back to you quickly, at least initially.

I would say sentence structure is definitely one of my strongest points. I'm pretty good at sensing when a sentence just sounds wrong or out of joint, but I'm more than capable of scanning for spelling and grammar mistakes. I have a bachelor's degree in English, so I've written so many essays I have most of the rules down. Obviously writing essays is not exactly like writing creatively, but I wouldn't have gotten by if I didn't know how to write properly. People say I'm pretty good at writing dialogue, but it can depend on the character. I have much experience creating OCs and I'd like to say I'm pretty good at it by now, I can tell you if your character is being a Mary Sue almost right away, I know when OCs are necessary and when they're not.

I tend to look over a project on a whole, and I may miss some subtle details. I also may not catch a missing word here or there if there is one, my mind tends to fill in those holes and I often find missing words in my own work.

Almost everything I write is an AU of some sort, so I definitely have a lot of experience and interest in reading those. Other than that, i love action and adventure as well. I tried my hand at suspense for my Until Dawn fic, but I'm not sure I have it down. I also greatly enjoy stories of friendship, brotherhood/sisterhood. I love crime and psychological stories as well.

Yaoi and Smut, and I'm not really one for crossovers. Generally I'm not really into Yuri either, but I mean, I wrote Weightless, so obviously there are exceptions.
