I mostly look for spelling and grammatical errors. For the most part, I will not mess with your style of writing.

My betareading style:
I will highlight areas and address things in red text. If it's a small thing, I will address it right at the highlighted text. Otherwise, I'll put a number and add my notes to the bottom (a la footnotes). It seems to work best for me.

I work especially well with stories that a non-native English speaker has written.

Spelling and grammar are my biggest strengths. I can catch other things, such as overused words. Very basic stuff.

Style. When I'm reading something, I could tell you that a particular sentence doesn't sound right, but I can't exactly tell you how to fix it.

I'm always up for a good Harry Potter story; I'm very knowledgeable about that fandom. But I'm up for just about anything. Seriously, just ask, and I'll probably accept it!

There's not much I won't do. I prefer not to read slash unless it's canon. I don't know about AU stories either. If you send me a story that's not from my specific preference list, I won't be able to catch things like OOC characters, etc.
