Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I have beta read a few times outside of this site, and I have edited my own work, but I still don't have much experiance. I'm best with spelling, punctuation etc. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
Spelling and punctauation. Apostrophes. I can blitz your writing for correct apostrophes! Some grammar, but it's not my strongest, strongest point :I can also help with checking that your characterisation and speech fits with the fandom you're ficcing for. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I can end up getting foccused on the grammar and losing track of the story. I also find it impossible to beta for something I don't enjoy reading. I don't have much experiance as a beta so far. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
Doctor Who and Harry Potter are my preffered fandoms. Pokemon set in the earlier games are also on my list. I will beta for anything rated T and below, and I'm perfectly happy if the fic contains a slash pairing so long as I don't get anything explicit. |
