Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
There is a general flow to any story. Actions have motives and consequences. Main and secondary characters should not be one-sided, but rather have their reasons for the way they act. I like stories that follow this flow. Those stories hastily written will be critiqued such, and those writers who write so may be overwhelmed by my attempt to /br / br / br /br / br / If a story's plot is interesting, I would definitely like to see to its end. If not, writers should help one another, from sharing ideas to correcting grammar. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
Beta: When a story captures me, I read every single detail in it. Must have a good plot and selection of characters in order to be captivated. Adept at finding word-misspells and grammar. Has some experience in managing character development and plot movementbr /br /br / br /br / br / Writer: Can describe a lot. Can produce vivid topics and scenes; good imagery. Good ideas concerning plot. Overall work looks exceptional. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
Beta: If the topic/setting of the story does not capture my attention, my plot skills may be lacking. Not much experience outside those fandoms I am familiar with. Picky about grammar. br /br /br / br /br / br / Writer: Likes to describe, can reach the point of extraneous details. Still working on character development, world-building, and plot progression. |

Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
I have no non-preferences anymore. As for "lemons", maturity from the client is paramount. I have little experience in this topic as well. br / br / I have trouble creating and following mystery/detective stories. Horror stories are particularly difficult for me. I have an idea of how interpersonal relationships work, but I will say I lack in this topic. |
