My best friend has written amazing stories for as long as I can remember and I have always been allowed to look them over before she lets everyone else read them. I figured that, as it is something I really love doing, I would lend a hand here if anyone wants it. I'm not a particularly talented author myself (I tend to get distracted rather too easily. I have a complete lack of self-discipline on that score) but as far as I can tell I'm a pretty accurate proof-reader (touch wood).

I have a fairly decent eye for spotting mistakes from typing errors,to spelling mistakes to things that don't quite make grammatical sense. I also usually have a pretty good character "profile" in mind, so spot OOC moments quite swiftly. Plus I can speed-read competently.

I'm not going to lie, if I haven't read the book/watched the show then I'm not going to be able to tell OOC moments and it might take me slightly longer to digest the story. Also I have a bit of a penchant for semi colons.

I would love to beta romance (straight/gay/whatever) and friendship stories, I prefer light-hearted stories and will probably be of more use editing those, however I have my darker moments!

Would feel uncomfortable reading about incest, bestiality and extreme violence. I'm also definitely not into anime/game fics.
