My name is Amanda Townsend, and I have a degree in Instruction and Education in English. Yes, I am a former English teacher. I am beginning my own private tutoring service that specializes in academics, music, and counseling. I have a very critical eye and am always glad to offer my services as an editor.

I have written several stories for Fan Fiction.net, but it is broad in scope and fairly long. I plan to continue writing more stories as I have time and desire.

My strength lies in diction and description. I am quick to notice grammar and spelling errors. I also work hard to clear up confusion.

My weakness would have to be advanced mechanics. As an English teacher, I will confess now: That junk's hard.

I prefer angst, romance, drama, and horror, but I'll try anything once.

Yaoi: Not interested.

I would prefer character pairings. I don't really cotton to OCs. Not my thing.

Also, obnoxiousness is not acceptable. I don't like jerks.
