I am a very thorough beta reader. I will not sugar coat my corrections, but I won't be hurtful. My job would be to help you, after all, not make you feel bad about yourself. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I do very well with grammatical problems, sentence structures, and paragraph fluidity. I also know how to put together a good, three act storyline and will help you do the same if that is what you are attempting. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I do tend to take a while editing something, busy life working full time and writing and studying as well. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
I would prefer to beta stories in a continuity in which I am well versed. If I don't know the characters is would be most difficult to be of any help in correcting little mistakes in character development or plot accuracy. |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
I don't want to beta stories with a) unfamiliar characters, or b) an author who will not accept help. If you ask for my advice I will give it, so be careful what you ask for. |
