Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I'm a writer with a few published pieces, looking at doing some more professional writing - I do fanfiction on the side to keep my hand in and to keep the ideas turning over. Please only contact me if you want criticism and are prepared to rewrite your work. I only take pieces longer than 1000 words as I am interested in character development more than drabbles and texts and so on. |

I am not great with punctuation. I know what a semicolon is, but not what to do with one. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
At the moment I'm mostly into Sherlock Holmes, but I am always open to Jane Austen and Lord of the Rings. I will also take Star Trek Voyager and House MD requests. |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
I do not like to read excessively violent material. Sherlock is all about murder mysteries but I don't need to see graphic violence in my head to solve mysteries. I am also not keen on werewolves, vampires and other AU. I don't like excessively "cracky" or parody pieces. |
