I have no expectations of any story handed to me. I will read rough drafts and proof for story as well as grammar. While I am new to the site, I am fluent with Microsoft Word and have a college education, with numerous writing classes(thought I am not a writing major). The specific categories I list are the ones I know best. In movies and books, I know many decently, but there are also many books I have not read in quite a long time, or that I do not remember the titles. No matter my knowledge or lack thereof for a particular piece I will do my best to correct what I can. Though I cannot guarantee I will be able to catch all continuity issues or plot holes if I don't know the original story well.

My strengths are grammar and continuity(including small details such as time), as well as identifying plot holes and 'mary janes'.

Spelling is a weakness of mine. Also, please tell me if the English is American or other(Austrailian, true English) so misunderstandings over spellings do not occur.

I prefer to read stories relatively in line with the established canon. However, alternative event stories are fine as well, and couplings as well as they are not too outrageous. For example, I won't read any South Park stories where Kenny is gay. I find it too hard to believe. In Lord of the Rings, I would not read anything that portray Legolas or Sam is gay. There is a difference between romantic love and deep friendship, and blurring the line in that way is a pet peeve of mine, as I happen to have a relationship like Sam and Frodo with my best friend.

Usually I do not like crossover stories(though there have been very well written ones I have enjoyed in the past), or outrageous couplings. Alternate universe and Gay couplings are fine.
