I write original stories and am plagued by "incomplete sentences" on Microsoft Word, most of which are really just rather short snippets and thoughts. I often leave these alone because I think of them as thoughts. br /br /br /

I have to correct my older cousin's grammar, spelling and I'm very critical on it. She writes original stories as well and doesn't have much knowledge of those things. So whenever she writes, she makes me sit beside her and point out grammatical and spelling mistakes so that she can change them. She finds it annoying that I catch every bit :) I expect authors to know what they're talking about and not go blathering on about some topic they have no knowledge about (especially Wicca and Satanism- however I can usually fix any misunderstandings about Wicca and a few on Satanism) and I expect simple things like capitilization and punctuation done.

I am good at finding synonyms and common spelling mistakes, as well as words that the author is looking for and can not think of. I have a broad vocabulary and am often asked what words mean when I speak in school. My spelling skills are very good (though I did accidentally forget the "t" in Bankrupt once) and I do get high reviews for my original stories from the people who read them for my writing style and word choices. I am the self proclaimed queen of angsty romance! Most of my original stories and my fanfiction revolve around angsty romance between two characters, and occasionally one dies. (My cousin read a short story I wrote where the leading man dies and she cried)

I am not good at writing sex scenes (most of the ones I write are mostly innuendos, and the actual act is not described in detail) however I apparently excel in angsty romance (words from a reader, not my own) and I have difficulty creating characters that are not in the alternative scene of things (Goths, Emos, Punks, Otakus). My "preppy" cousin (the same one who cannot write without me) tells me my mainstream characters are highly innacurate.

I'd prefer humour, romance, angst and yes, smut. I'm not good at writing smut, but I've read enough (wink) that I can edit it fairly well as long as it's written mostly done and the author only wishes me to fix words and grammar and things of that nature. There isn't much that I wont do.

I will not betaread yuri. I will also not betaread tragedy stories for any series I have a strong liking to. This means mostly character death, however I make exceptions for characters I don't like (Ha!). I wont betaread most pairings that I do not find appealing (ZimXKeef or NathanXCharlie for example) though I make exceptions! I'll often read them, though some just cross the line and I refuse to edit them.
