If you've merely stumbled here by accident, or perhaps whilst searching for a beta, and are not familiar with me already, here are some basics:

My name is Lexi, and I've had an account on fanfiction.net for about two years. I'm a Nerdfighter and a Hufflepuff and I'm quite fond of reading.

After that brief introduction, I suppose I ought to tell you more about who I am as a beta-reader.

I don't have any spectacular qualifications. However, I am relatively good at finding mistakes in spelling, grammar, and the general fluidity of your writing.

I'm good with oneshots, and I think characterization is another strength of mine. I'm kind, too, I suppose, if you're worried about that.

I'm a bit too kind. So if you're going to ignore suggestions if they're not forced upon you, I'd advise going with someone else. I'm also not all that good with longer stories.

Also, on weekdays I'm slower with beta-ing due to having school.

I mostly read and write canon, and would definitely be a better help to you if your story is canon as well. I have much more experience in that area, and am probably a better beta for something I can enjoy and understand easily.

Nothing M, please. I can't seem to read it. And I would rather not do multi-chapter, because it requires a lot more communication between the beta and the writer, which is often difficult to manage well. (If you're willing to put forth the effort, I will too, but if you're not, I advise looking elsewhere.) Non-canon is rarely accepted, either, though if it isn't extremely non-canon (Draco and Harry are chilling in America, where they fall madly in love, for example, would not be accepted), you could still ask me to beta.
