My name is Jessica and I take all requests very seriously. I only wish to help you to publish the best story possible. It doesn't matter what kind of story it is, so long as you are passionate about entertaining your readers. I will admit I'm quite anal about grammar, spelling, and characterization. I will accept most genres. I will not, however, accept any song-fics. I'm not exactly the right person to seek help from concerning those types of stories. Song fics should match the tone of the story and there are just too many songs out there I'm not familiar with to be of much help. I look forward to working with you. Smiles!

I am very good at English, Comprehensive Reading, Creative Writing, and Poetry. Grammar is one of my strong points. I'm expressive, imaginative, have a very good vocabulary and I'm extremely good at spelling. Sentence structure has been drilled into me since I was a child. (Grandmother was a high school English teacher.) I'm good at writing fantasy, drama and romance. I have an eye for detail, good characterization, and pay attention to overall flow of a story. I'm pretty good at tenses, which to anyone who writes a variety of view points, knows that staying in the right tense(past, present, future) can be quite difficult at times. There is one last thing I will mention, but is not necessarily important. I have been taught a couple of writer's block exercises. These help me when I get stuck and can't think anymore...so if you ever find yourself blocked, I could give you a few pointers on how to break free of that annoying rut.

Though I'm good at grammar and most everything else English related, I do still have trouble with the proper use of certain punctuation. It is something that has annoyed me for years. It is usually the use of the following punctuation that I mess up on from time to time. The two within the brackets. [ : ; ] I must admit, that although I enjoy reading and writing crime stories, I'm not very good at forensic writing. I would have to research that more, but I would of course do my best. I'm also no good at horror. What I think is scary is apparently not that frightening at all. lol I'm sure there is more that I could use more practice at, but these were the things that came to mind first.

I don't really mind what kind of story it is you would like me to beta read, but I do enjoy reading the following: anime, fantasy, romance, action, sci-fi, drama, game, and yaoi/slash. Really, I can read anything. I'm very open-minded and really do enjoy the process.

I can say that I'm not a big fan of Crack Fics or Song Fics. I'm not very keen on horror either.
