My personal writing style is extremely formal, which comes from growing up on J.R.R. Tolkein and Jules Verne, so I tend to reflect that in anything I edit, but if you specifically request that I keep the writing casual I will do my very, very best to do that for you. I also have a tendency to take a lot of artistic license when it comes to revising, going so far as to completely rewrite entire chapters of some of my friends' stories for them, but again, all you have to do is request that I leave most of it intact and I will! I've never enjoyed English as a subject but I've been reading and writing since I was extremely little and am quite good at it, if I do say so myself ;)

I've always excelled at grammar and spelling, so you can send me the most mistake-ridden crap you want and I'll be happy to fix it up for you! I'm also very adept at learning new languages and working with those new to the English language, so if you do not speak English fluently it's no problem for me to translate a few words here and there or make sense of a grammatical horrorfest. I'm a bit of a pedant, so I'll obsess over irrelevant details but in the end I think it makes the story better. I'm also very good at writing natural dialogue that 'flows' with the story and fits the characters and setting.

My friends tell me I take too much artistic license when revising, but I'm working hard on improving that. I'm also particularly fond of formal and 'specific' writing; I hate using general terms or phrases. This can be a problem because most people my age don't have as advanced a vocabulary as mine (not to get a swelled head about it, of course).

I'd prefer to stick with fanfictions of stories I've actually read, of course. Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles, Full Metal Alchemist, and Rurouni Kenshin are my favorites, particularly KUROFAI ~fangirl squeal~ and RoyEd. But of course I love to read books as much as comics/manga, and will accept ALMOST any fanfiction based on a book I have read.

No Twilight fanfictions will ever be accepted, sorry, and I'd prefer to steer clear of Harry Potter, too. I don't like revising poetry or songs, but I will happily edit. I dislike pure romance, too (that's shojo for you manga maniacs and chick flicks for you movie buffs). There needs to be at least something else, be it action, comedy, or what have you. I'm also not fond of fanfictions based on movies, but I will occasionally make exceptions.
