The most important part of being a beta is grammar in the profile description-how can someone edit your story, if they cannot even edit a simple description about themselves? On your search for a beta, I hope you consider this as you examine my profile and countless others. As far as my competence, I would first like to say that I am a student. I try to be punctual in all of my deadlines, but that is unfortunately not the case. However, if you do choose me as your beta, you'll find that I am quite the perfectionist, and (brutally) honest. I am a perfectionist, and I'm not afraid to point out a mistake. My mind is very detail-oriented and analytical, and your material WILL be transformed by the sheer mass of notes and critiques I provide.

I am brutally honest-if you don't want criticism, don't ask for it, kid. I may not always be punctual, but I will definitely try my hardest. I can't help you too much with editing or juicing up your lemons, but I don't mind if you have them. Oh, and I tend to be comma-happy.

I am a big fan of canon, but if it's interesting enough I'll read it. (If you want me to beta a Twi-fic, I'm not too into all-human stories). I love classic literature, and would jump on the chance to read it. I actually do NOT enjoy Stephenie Meyer's Twilight, but I love to write my own take on it, and am very familiar with the story, and would not mind beta-reading yours.

If you're going to do a fan-fic of something, please try to have some semblance of the original piece (i.e. don't merely substitute the names of the protagonists into a completely unrelated story). I like lengthy chapters, so if you can't write over 500 words per chapter, don't bother writing me. I don't mind lemons, but I don't have a lot of knowledge on the subject (if you catch my drift), so I would try to find a more "experienced" beta if you plan on making your story a giant lemon pie. I don't do anime, manga, or Disney. Ever.
