I've been proofreading and editing my friends and classmates essays and stories, and I think it's time I started doing it in FanFiction. I like beta'ing stories, especially ones with writers who are open to suggestions and modifications. My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I have been editing for a while now, both for my composition class (which includes proofreading in the curriculum) so I usually spot the big errors. If I am unsure of anything, I get help from books and dictionaries. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I may miss the very minute details, but then my friend double proofreads my beta'd stories, so you probably wouldn't get it back with big errors. Or small ones. I am also branded as a 'comma abuser'. |
