Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
Hey! I am kinda new to beta-ing, but my mom's an editor for a newspaper so I can edit pretty well. If anyone wants to collab, COOLIO! I enjoy humour fics, and some intense serious ones... Depends on the pairing. By the way, I DO NO do lemons... They creep me out... I don't like smut either ;). Whoever wishes for me to beta MUST be doing a genre that I know inside and out, (ex, TDI/A... 6teen... Stoked...) and have a fair amount of knowledge on the genre themselves! |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I can edit grammar pretty well, i'm good at making jokes, and my favourite genres are TDI and 6teen. I'm better at writing for those. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I'm not that great at going into detail, I tend to get lazy and cut corners but can persevere, and I'm not good at sexual scenes... Yuck! |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
I prefer cartoon shows, like TDI and 6teen, and the couples DuncanxCourtney, BridgettexGeoff, TrentxGwen, CourtneyxTrent, NoahxCourtney, CourtneyxGeoff (strange, I know!) I like happy, and humourous stories! |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
I don't really like angsty serious stories, sexual stories, or poorly written ones... OR DUNCANXGWEN ONES! If you request me to do DxG, I'll punch you in the face. |
