While my profile reveals I haven't written in awhile, rest assured that I have some stories and experience under my belt, and I'm planning to create new ones to add here at some point. I've reviewed for many people before, and I've seen some of the things I've looked over go from low/mid-tier to being accepted into more professional sites. Be assured that if you hand me your fic, I will be very thorough in reviewing, making suggestions and pointing out errors, in the hopes of making your story the best it can be. br /

I prefer stories put up on Googledocs before I look at them (for ease of access and the ability to more easily point our errors), but I'll look at them in any format. I may take time with my reviews if I'm busy with life/swamped with requests, but I'll almost always have them back to you quickly (within a day or two) otherwise.

I excel at grammar, spelling, and characterization. I also have a decent handling of plot, pacing, and formatting. I'm also pretty creative at heart, and love to point out new possibilities if you're in need of guidance.

While not an altogether bad thing, I will NOT hold back. If you ask for help, expect a complete combover of your work, which may be a bit much for some. Believe me when I say this, I will do my best to make your story shine. And I must admit, there are some times I feel something's wrong with a segment but can't pinpoint quite what it is. I'm also far, far from perfect, so a few errors may slip through my reviews. And if you make the same mistakes over and over and over, odds are I'll just point it out and make you look for all the times you did it yourself. I'm a reviewer, not a spellchecker.

Above all else, I prefer romances/dramas, comedies, and slice of life stories. Adventures and tragedies come after.

I'll give any well-written story a chance, but I'll generally refuse these unless they show promise: Songfics, High School fics, poetry, crossovers, and alternate universes. I'm also a bit wary of dark or sexual stories, but generally less so than the previously mentioned types.
