Beta Description
Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
My beta reading style is basically the same as everyone else out there. I mean I'm pretty good with catching grammar and spelling errors. I may slip up a couple of times, but to be honest who doesn't slip up from time to time. If you really like a story than you're going to focus more on the story itself, but as a beta I would also make sure that after I read the chapter I would go back and check for mistakes. My expectations of people who request me must at least be semi-literate, and the stories they write have to be a reasonable length. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I excel at writing third person stories, dialogue scenes, and good editing skills. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
As I stated before I may tend to slip up from time to time, but if I do please just let me know and I'll go back and look. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
I prefer stories that are written in third person, and that is only because stories in third person really catch my attention. I do prefer yaoi as well such as Zack and Cloud, GrimmIchi, UlquiGrim, and some other pairings. I also like action adventure stories, so if you've got any of those I'll be willing to help out. |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
I can't do stories written in first person, and that is only because I don't think they appeal to me very well. Other than that, though, that is my only pet peeve. |
