I am very anal retentive when it comes to stories. If you give me something to beta read then expect it to be edited with a fine-toothed comb. I am understanding and open-minded but I won't sugar coat things so if you want a really nice beta reader, you may not want me. If you want it done right, you have found the person for you.

Depending on the length of your chapters/story I can typically get stuff back to you within 3-5 days at most unless real life is interfering.

I know how to word things and have a variety of transitions for your writing to keep it interesting for the reader. I know how to make things flow together and I have a pretty good handle on grammar and punctuation. I can point out holes in the plot or tell you why some things don't go together.

Comma use has a way of eluding me. I often forget the rules of where to place commas and how many are acceptable to use. I also have a hard time effectively beta-reading for someone when I am not entirely sure of how involved they want me to be.

I would rather only beta things that I have seen or read, but if you message me I can let you know if I'll beta for whatever your category is because I have not listed nearly as many books/movies/etc that I know. If you are looking to improve your writing, and already possess a good grasp of the language, I will work with you closely to make sure your skills improve.

I don't mind doing scenes that are gory or filled with delicious love making.

I will not do beta reading for books/movies/etc with which I am not familiar. I will not do rape scenes. "High language" is not something I'm really into reading, so if you are writing your stories with Ph.D. level people in mind you probably don't need me. With that in mind, I also won't bother reading a paragraph-size sentence full of slang and garble.
