As a beta-reader I will be honest with you, I'll tell you what you're doing right and why it's good, but also what you need to work on. I will write notes on which areas I think you can improve in, but I'm not going to write a story for you. You can expect your chapter back within six-seven days, if it's going to be any longer I'll PM you in advance.

My spelling and grammar is good, as well as my sentence structure. I'll tell you if your style's too choppy or if you're not putting in enough commas, and how to fix it. I'm very familiar with the Avatar series, which means I'll be able to tell you if I think so-and-so are acting a bit OOC.

I have a tendency to waffle on about unimportant stuff. I'm also a real sucker for changing a fic plot on a whim, which means I often don't have a very clear idea of where a fic's going when I start it. (So basically, don't ask me for plot advice, I'll be: 'Hey, how about a Spirit War?' one day and then, 'Nooo, slow-moving Kataangst FOOL!')

I don't really mind what I beta-read. I beta anything ship-wise that you can throw at me, and I also have absolutely no problem reading OC-centric stories - next-gen Avatar, anybody? - but I will let you know if your character's becoming a Mary Sue.

Any fics with heavy swearing or smut.
