So after reading some stories here on the site, I've made the decision to try beta-reading. As I'm just starting out at it I may not be the best, nor will I claim to be. I'd love to get to know some amazing people through this though and be able to work on my writing at the same time!

I like to say I'm good at editing, especially other people's work. While editing my own I often make mistakes, but constantly while reading works written by different author's I am decent at picking out grammar and sentence structure mistakes. I also think I'm fairly decent at making writing sound... elevated, in a way.

Spelling is often what gets me; spelling as well as remembering certain facts on some stories. I try my best, but let's remember I'm not perfect! There are definitely more, but I'll list them as I think of ways to word them.

I really enjoy angst and fluff stories - complete opposites - but still. So I'd prefer to do romance, family, drama, anger, sadness over something like mystery, horror, suspense, etc. Not that I won't beta for those kind of stories, I'm just personally not used to writing them.

I probably won't do smut. But if that is what you've written, ask me first!
