I'm fairly lenient - but if I'm going to beta a story, I'd like there to be some consistency; authors who submit and something in SOME semblance of a schedule will probably be higher on the priority list than authors that just throw things into a pile. If you'd like me to beta something, just send me a PM and I'll try to get back to you ASAP. I'll do oneshots and multi-chapter fics.

Spelling, grammar, and the "flow" of a story - what makes it eloquent and easy to read often changes the entire mood the reader is in while reading your story.

I kill my writing with adverbs. I'm also working on the whole "show don't tell" thing.

I'll pretty much beta anything - as long as it doesn't involve in depth knowledge of a show or movie. I'm good with all books - especially if it's one I haven't read, because then I have a book recommendation too ;). I watch Bones and 10 Things I hate About You, and I'm fairly up to date with movies. Send me a message if you're unsure about whether or not I'd beta something. Honestly, I prefer romance - but I like sci-fi, adventure and drama as well, as long as there's a TWINGE of romance in it. :)

No lemons. Mild intimate/sex scenes are fine, but nothing too explicit. Also tragedy - it's alright if a story has a super-depressing section, but I'm not too into it if the entire thing is agony and woe. And also, I'm not a big fan of horror.
