I love both reading & writing and spend a lot of my free time doing both. I am good at spotting grammatical errors and spelling mistakes, I find this is easier when reading other peoples work, as sometimes when working on your own fics you've read them so many times you just can't see for looking.br /

I am quite happy to help develop plot lines if that's what you require, however I won't just re-write things, I will tell you my idea and send you maybe a paragraph of how I would have written it, the final decision always lays with the author. br /

I think if you're looking for a beta reader you should first read the Beta readers fics, it gives you an inkling as to whether you like their writing style.br /

I like to give honest feedback, however I'll ensure this is constructive, I don't think it's helpful to say you either like or don't like something without giving reasons for your answers.br /

As soon as a request is made I will endeavour to reply within 48 hours. Depending on the length of the fic I would try to complete it within a week, obviously sometimes real life gets in the way =0) however should this happen I will let you know.br /

Spelling/grammar and plot development when required. Also researching/checking any pop culture references made etc. unless the author wants them kept in regardless

I tend to get carried away with my writing & changing plot lines at the last minute; however as a Beta reader I think it's important to listen to what the author is saying.

I wouldn't rule any other genres out but I'd have to make a decision after having a read through, it wouldn't be fair to the author for me to develop plots etc on things I am not familiar with. However if all you're looking for is spelling & grammar checks I have no preferences.

I'm pretty open to beta read any fics, although I'm not overly kean on anime and I wouldn't want to read slash... also I only Beta in English =O)
