In general, I'm very open. In the past, I have beta-read stories for my friends, and one who just so happens to be foreign, and has some trouble with their English. I try to detect any grammer and spelling errors most, and then go back and check for any other possible errors, such as punctuation. To sum it up, I can more than often handle betareading for someone who doesn't have English as their native tongue, and I make it my goal to search out, and correct any errors.

I occasionally have troubles with punctuation. However, I always check over the writing for errors multiple times, and I normally find and fix suchs mistakes.

It is better for me to do up-beat, humorous, or even romantic stories. Most other genres are acceptable. I also don't mind having to beta slash/yaoi or yuri fics.

I'm not too keen on betareading anything with too much angst, or with it being mostly centered around action. This does not mean I won't do these, they just won't hold my attention for as long as other genres.
