I started on this site as Ravenwingcorps Beta. In all honesty, my best story, Persona 3: Fairly English Story is an insane Beta of the original game.

When I write, I have a few disjointed ideas, and maybe a few prejudices, and they are stirred together and a plot turns up out of them. A lot of the other things happen by what I call emergence, which is what scientists and Terry Pratchett call emergence. In the process of writing the chapter, it starts to write itself. Logical things happen one after the other. What I have to do is make it make sense, and get someone else to look through it before I post it. Stuff turns up, important stuff that is of value to the plot, and to help me in my thinking. It handily turns up during the writing

When I beta, I also rely on emergence. What I have to do is lots and lots of editing, and point out stuff that turns up, make it work out, and let emergence take place, really.

No Lemons, Yaoi, or stupid pairings.

I can work with Emo, Mary Sues and bad plots. My job, as I see it, is to take what isn't that great and make it wonderful.

My biggest strength is that I can make things up on the spot. If you want a posh word for it, it's Emergence. Give me a chapter with a large gap in the middle, or an unresolved ending and I will fix it with awesomeness. I'm also very skilled at keeping a character in character when I write. I can even do this when developing an OC, or when writing an existing character a new personality. I'm also good at filling plot holes, writing fight scenes, keeping believability in stories, and making hated characters loved.

Hey, I managed to turn Sasuke into a fine young man at one point. I was surprised too.

I have a slight issue with stubbornness, and I often try to drive a point home if I really, really, REALLY don't think someone's making a good decision, but I will submit to your executive decision. Eventually. I'm also crap with character names, and am sometimes prone to continuity errors, so you might want to check anything I beta before posting.

If you can interest me in one chapter, then I'm in. Obviously I won't Beta read anything I haven't heard of, but I would like to do something in Lie to Me, or most Anime.

I don't like doing fanfictions for books or films, since I feel like they defeat the point somehow. Don't ask me why.

No Lemon's, Yaoi or stupid pairings. I'm wary of doing pairing stories in general, but I'll give most things a go.

I don't like doing the whole Emo Super Naruto thing. Working hard to get One Eye Of The Demon out of there. Mind you, if you manage to interest me, I'll go for it.
