I tend to be a bit of a perfectionist. Definitely let me know what you are looking for me to do as a beta-reader and I will try my best to fit what you need.

Just to let you know, I will NOT write your story for you. In other words, I will always give you suggestions but I will not write any more than two paragraphs for you (ten sentences) per chapter. The whole point of a beta reader is to help the author out... Not write their story for them, silly!

The way I like to beta read is by offering the following within a Docx:

a) comments

b) suggestions for the chapter and future chapters when you're writing this or anything else

c) what I felt as I read certain parts to make sure you're conveying the right emotion

d) ways to improve

e) what I really liked

f) what I wasn't overly impressed with

Fireflies Glow

I am very good at description, adding length and coming up with plot as well as story ideas. I am great at conveying emotions and feelings to an audience, and can easily create believable emotion filled pieces. I am creative, tend to think outside the box, and can definitely help you out of a plot hole or when you have writer's block. I really enjoy making sure that things flow well. I have fabulous attention to detail. I am a frequent reader, so I can always bring new suggestions.

I am not very good with poetry, unless you want me to talk about the flow of your poem. Otherwise, I am not the beta-reader for you. One thing important to note is that I am a slow beta reader. It can sometimes take me up to two months to have enough time to properly beta read a chapter. However, in the summer I'm a much quicker beta reader. If you'd like to request myself as your beta reader during the school year, please be prepared for waiting a little while!

I absolutely love drabbles, one-shots, quote-based fics and song-fics. I also really enjoy AUs. I would love adventure, drama, and hurt/comfort as well as angst. My favorite genre would have to be romance, so if you have anything with even a hint of it then feel free to drop it by! My two top choices to read would be romantic comedies and angst, and I really love relationship based stories. I prefer to work with certain pairings, but I will work with pairings outside of what I support. I am very versatile, so if you think you might want me to beta read something of yours then go ahead.

I would prefer not to have yuri or yaoi. It's not that I dislike it, but I do not think that I could bring justice to the story. However, I will beta read pretty much anything, so don't hesitate to send me anything to beta for you! :)
