I skim. Pure and simple, but that's not to say that I don't slow down or go back when necessary. At the least though I want to look over a story that pulls me in with a storyline that leaves me begging for more. |

Calling on reference and if whatever I'm reading was ever in video format I probably remember all the scenes(I tend to blank out on names and certain phrases) |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
Getting into sappy storylines. Seriously, everything has a plus and a minus, if your story can't handle both a positive and a negative vibe, I can't get into it.
Long stories *shivers* I'm talking like 10,000+ oneshots or massive amounts of chapters that're awkwardly cut |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
Angst, Drama, Hurt/Comfort. I want to feel the character's rollercoaster of emotions as I read your story. |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
Original characters: Little or no real effect on the characters you squeeze them with. Yeah, yeah, the character is probably brooding all the time, but that's the character and there's a reason you like them. |
