I absolutely love to read. Picking out errors while I'm reading is something that comes naturally to me, so I'll be glad to read for spelling and grammar errors, as well as things that don't make sense. I'll brainstorm with you if you get stuck. When I'm helping someone, I'll try to check the site as often as possible. I'll beta-read anything if you absolutely need me to, but I'd rather stick within my preferred areas. What I expect of you in return is that you take my criticism as it was meant: instructive and helpful. I'm not trying to be mean, I'm trying to help you, and remember, you asked for it. I really hate reading stories that have no punctuation, quotation marks, words all over the place, no capitalizing, no paragraphs, etc. It just drives me nuts. I mean, I'll still try to help you if I can, but it'll irritate me and I'll likely get annoyed and be harsher than I would have under other circumstances. I'm not exactly the most patient person in the world when grammar is involved, it's one of my pet peeves. I swear I'll do my best, though, and as long as you have SOME concept of grammar to start with, we should get along just fine. I'll be as patient and kind as I possibly can be.

I'm usually good at catching the little silly typos that happen (unless it's my own work for some reason...then they all elude me) and I'm good with spelling and grammar. Also, I have a large vocabulary, so I can suggest alternate phrasings and synonyms to make writing more descriptive. If something doesn't make sense, I'll let you know so you can change it, or help you explain it better so that readers will understand. I'm good for brainstorming sessions, too, because I'm not afraid to throw ideas out there for you to bounce around and improve upon if you feel like using them, or to help you think of something different. I read quickly, as well, so you will get results back in a timely manner, and if I'm helping someone I will check the site as often as possible, meaning at least once a day, maybe more.

I'm not very good at coming up with plots on my own. Writer's block is a serious issue for me there. I can do it, but it takes a while, and I'd much rather just read someone else's work anyway. I may not be as effective at helping you with plot development as you would like. I'll still do my best of course, and I will be sure to tell you if something doesn't make sense.
