Mostly I just enjoy reading and writing things for this site and want to get more involved in the community.

I'm very good at not mixing up words that are commonly confused, both easy mistakes (they're/their/there, faze/phase) and more challenging ones (regimen/regiment, prodigy/protege/progeny, epitaph/epithet/epigraph, etc).br /

On a similar note, if you're a European fan of an American show, you can rely on me to weed out Britishisms such as dressing gown instead of bathrobe, "good job" instead of good thing, poorly instead of sick, holiday instead of vacation, and so forth. I'll also note when there appear to be cultural inaccuracies, for example people assuming that you can get certain medications over the counter in the US when in fact you need a /

I do think good grammar and punctuation improves a story, though I'll tolerate the occasional artistic sentence fragment, ellipsis (...), or nonstandard construction. Prepare to have your comma and semicolon use policed.

I have very little experience writing or editing stories with original characters. I might not be the best source for help with general writing topics like characterization and pacing.

My favorite kinds of stories are one-shots, missing scenes, and other short fare. I'd be willing to work on a longer fic if it was suitably interesting.

I am not very interested in stories where characters are shoehorned into situations so AU and out of character that you'd be better off writing it with original characters.
