I've just finished my English and Creative Writing degree, and I have spent three years workshopping people's poems and stories. Workshopping involved reading through someone's work and picking out things that work well and things that don't work as well. While I do highlight what does work and what doesn't, grammar issues and spelling issues, I would expect anyone sending work to me to do the actual editing themselves. After all I provide feedback, but whether or not that feedback is acted upon is up to the writer.

I'm good at giving constructive feedback and by this I mean saying when I think something has been done well and pointing it out when something doesn't, or if I think something needs to be developed more. This can be anything from sentence structure and description, to characterisation and plot. I am good at picking up on spelling mistakes.

As I like to be thorough it can take me a while to after being sent a piece of work to send it back.

While I am open to looking over any type of stories, I feel that if your story is in the Sci-Fi or crime genre I wouldn't be able to give you the best feedback as I don't read anything in those genres.

Incest or stories that has strong abuse, such as rape. I know some people like to read and write these type of stories I just don't feel comfortable doing so.
