I am very good with grammar and spelling and the technical side to writing. I would like to think that I have a good imagination when it comes to plots. I have been a betareader for people on other sites for years, so I can do a pretty thorough job of proofreading and editing a fic. As for my style, I usually like a my correction/changes on the document itself, rather than emailing a list, so keep a copy of the original handy. I make A LOT of changes usually, and never hesitate to ask about any of them. I am also usually not offended if you undo a change in word choice, sentence structure, and the like, but also keep in mind that beta'ing is all about becoming a better writer.

Grammar, spelling, technical stuff. I can help a little with plots, usually just in the course of conversation and releasing a plotbunny. I do dialogue pretty well, and description.

Writer's Block. If you can't think of a good ending for your fic, 98 percent of the time niether can I.

Honestly, I only have a few fandoms that I feel comfortable enough to beta right now, but hopefully the list will keep expanding. Doctor Who, Final Fantasy 7, Kingdom Hearts, Ouran High School Host Club, Otomen, Laurie King, Full Metal Alchemist, Death Note, and some Disney stuff, mostly Aladdin.

Harry Potter, Twilight, anything with vampies, warewolves, and other sorts of mythical creatures in popular fiction.
